I had suffered from migraine/sinus/tension headaches for years, taking a variety of medications with little or no relief. After listening to me complain, my mother made an appointment for me, with Dr. Lau. Since the visit I have noticed the difference. I have not had a headache since I started my treatment. In addition congestion level has decreased significantly. My only regret is that I didn’t come sooner.

This is a letter of gratitude. After more than four years of severely debilitating pain, I am nearly pain-free. I have you to thank for this. Indeed, you have given me my life back — as well as much hope for the future.

My pain was of an especially distressing kind. I had severe vaginal pain and pain from interstitial cystitis. The pain was so intense that I had withdrawn from my life. Before coming to you I tried everything to find a cure. I went to countless MDs, I consulted with naturopaths and with homeopaths. I kept to a very strict diet of fish and vegetables. But nothing seemed to help consistently or for long. I was in great despair.

Then I came to you. And within only a few sessions the pain decreased significantly, then nearly vanished. The IC (interstitial cystitis) symptoms have disappeared entirely. The vaginal pain is 85-90% gone. You treated me with both acupucture and herbs, and the combination has been wonderful.

I must add another note. You have treated me with great kindness and respect. The difficulty of working with pain of such an intimate nature did not deter you, and you have always made me feel great trust in you as a doctor. I know that you care sincerely about my health — physical and emotional — and you have been enormously generous with your knowledge, your time, and your kindness.
